I’ve been here a little over two years, and I’ve been driving straight truck, trailer, and semi for 40, so I’ve been around the block once or twice. Dalemerc treats you like a human, not just a number. If you need time off, they work with you and make sure you’re done on time. They’re also very safety-oriented. All the equipment is 5 years old or newer. They rotate trucks every five years through Penske, and Dalemerc owns and maintains all the trailers. Everybody is very friendly and knowledgeable. Last winter, I had to take the truck into Penske, where we lease from, and it was all covered in snow. I walked in to get a broom, and the guy in charge of the shop actually came out with the broom and brushed it off for me. Anybody you deal with is great.

SDAP Safe Driver Apprenticeship Pilot Program

At Dalemerc Express, we’re committed to nurturing the next generation of professional drivers. We’re proud to be approved participants in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Safe Driver Apprenticeship Pilot Program. The Safe Driver Apprenticeship Pilot Program is a unique initiative that allows drivers aged 18-20 with an intrastate commercial driver’s license to operate in interstate commerce under specific conditions.

Who is eligible?

Drivers aged 18, 19, or 20
Currently possess a CDL with a K-restriction (intrastate only)
Those eager to expand their driving opportunities and earn more
